CAMERA READY PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS:
Ads must be produced to specific page sizes.
Half-Tone Requirements:

•  Highlights 3-8%
  
•  Shadows 72-78%
•  30% Press Gain
  
•  85 Line Screen
  

Houston Press does not accept responsibility
for the printing quality of camera ready ads.

•  Black and white ads must be saved grayscale
•  All color ads must be CMYK (NO RGB, Index or PMS colors). Black should always be 100% black
•  Minimum resolution: 300 DPI

ELECTRONIC AD SUBMISSION
All electronic ads must be provided in one of the
following file formats:

•  Postscript file (.ps)
•  Acrobat Distiller file (.pdf) with all fonts embedded
•  Tagged image file (.tif) Photoshop file preferred
•  JPEG graphic file (.jpeg) Save at least “medium” quality
•  EPS graphic file (.eps) Photoshop file preferred

Acceptable Media Formats:

•  High Density 3.5’
•  CD-R and CD-RW 650mb, DVD-R, DVD-RW
