Bret Michaels

When not fronting Poison or making the reality-show rounds – either looking for a mate or trying to become one of Donald Trump's underlings – Bret Michaels tours the country as a solo act. With a career renaissance that began with Poison's early-'00s re-invigoration, Michaels has become a sort of sex symbol for housewives and smoky rocker chicks all over again. Along with Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx and guitar hero Slash, he's a hair-metal elder statesman. All these hard-partying guys managed to survive the decadent '80s with some platinum records, a few scars and some great stories to tell. For his solo live shows, Michaels makes sure to sprinkle in plenty of Poison cuts, some choice covers and even a few ballads like "Go That Far," the theme song from Rock of Love with Bret Michaels.
