Since the Pegstar and Free Press Houston folks bought Fitzgerald's in 2010, they have been throwing large, must-attend parties to unite Houston's disparate youth tribes and ring in the new year. This year's edition features Robert Ellis, who moved to Nashville earlier this year and has been traveling the world preaching the gospel of Texas. Buxton comes in to close the year on their home turf after touring the album Nothing Here Seems Strange hard. Chilled-out yacht-rock newcomers Deep Cuts are also playing one of the biggest shows of their young history, and of course, B L A C K I E will be on hand to destroy all pyramids with songs from 2012's excellent GEN.
