Fun Fun Fun Fest Adds Spoon, Black Lips, Cannibal Corpse
That probably spooked you all, huh, thinking we added those three to our own BestFest, right? In addition to previously announced biggies like Slayer, The Damned, Public Enemy, the Hot Snakes reunion gig, and the Danzig Legacy project, these new three only sweeten the deal for FFFF attendees that first weekend in November.
This will be Spoon's (above) sole 2011 concert, coming back to their home base for one night, and the Black Lips have more than a few Texas ties now. Not only that, they are a shot in the arm to any lineup and crazy as fuck. Fireworks, dudes.
The influential Cannibal Corpse has been scaring parents and politicians alike since the late '80s, with their violent imagery and lyrics, making them worthy of sharing a bill with Odd Future.
Omar Souleyman was also added, added a Middle Eastern flavor to the mix. World music seems to do well at FFFF, with Os Mutantes packing them in at last year's festival.

As we previously noted, this is FFFF's first year at Austin's Auditorium Shores, and the organizers most definitely have made sure the grounds are getting maximum use. Tickets are still on sale, but your options are dwindling by the day.
Additions like this are going to make tickets only that much more sought-after.
