Marcus Manchild: NYC Flips For UGK
Houston rapper Marcus Manchild and his label partners at AMG (Authentik Music Group), George, Chad and Nate, are currently traveling the country as part of the Smoker's Club Tour, headlined by Method Man, Curren$y and Big K.R.I.T. The Smoker's Club tour comes to Warehouse Live November 11, and Marcus agreed to check in with Rocks Off once a week to let us know how it's going. See how it went in Philly in last week's entry.

Since the last time we talked, I been to Times Square and performed at the Best Buy Theatre; Rhode Island; Vermont; Clifton Park, New York; New Jersey, and Montreal, Canada.
Before the show in Times Square, we went to this Brazilian spot across from my hotel and got some Chicken Stroganoff for the first time; shit was stupid good, by the way.
After that, I hit the room to get on Skype with a few ladies before getting ready for the show. We start on the Patron, which is what we drink before each and every show, and roll up some of that loud (lol).
After we were buzzed, we headed up to the Best Buy theatre. That shit was in the middle of Times Square, so I'm hella nervous. Not to mention, this is really my first time performing in front of New Yorkers, but the show was crazzzzzzy.
As soon as I said something about Pimp C and Bun B onstage, the crowd went stupid, so I am pretty sure I gained a bunch of fans in NY, NY (lol).
I'ma see what Toronto Canada is like tonight. I heard they get it poppin' out here. That's what my homie Rich Hil ( Tommy Hilfiger's son), who is also on tour, told me on our ride into Canada.
But so far it's been groupies going crazy in Rhode Island, Vermont and Montreal . I ain't gon' lie, they go live out there. But this really just the beginning.
We 7-7 so far for rockin' out and killin' the stage. We got about 29 more cities to go, so I know we fin'na have fun... Boiiiiiiii!!!!
