Rap Round Table: Life On The Line, Who Takes The Last Shot?

Some rappers happen to be thoughtful, intelligent people. Each week Rocks Off will have some of them here discussing issues relevant to their culture.

This Week's Panel: Zavey, Lil O, Young Sensation, Delo, Brad Gilmore, D-Risha, Preemo, GT Mayne, Eskabel, more

Not Invited: Jeremy Lin

This Week's Prompt: The NBA All-Star was last weekend. Were your life wagered on a game, and that game came down to the very last shot, which NBA player would you pick to take it? It has to be a current player and you have to take him as he is currently.

Zavey: Kobe... because he is Kobe.

Young Sensation: Kobe Bryant. Duh. The most clutch player in the game today.

hasHBrown: Ray Allen. He's one of the best shooters of all-time. Career field goal percentage: 45 percent and 40 percent from three point land and 90 percent on free throws. #butter

Brad Gilmore: Would the obvious answer be Jeremy Lin? Or would it be more obvious to say Kobe?

Lil O: I hate to say it, but hands down LeBron. He's just on right now and the shots he's taking and hitting are magical.

GT Mayne: As much as I despise saying it... Kobe Bryant.

Medicine Girl: I have no clue. I'm all music, no sports.

RoderickVONN: Kobe because he's probably gonna hit. Or Dirk from Dallas.

Preemo: Kobe, because when it's time he's on.

Eskabel: D. Rose. Enough said.

Chuckway: Manu Ginobili.

Kane: I would pick Ray Allen or Kobe; clutch. They come through when you need them.

Yung Truth: Kevin Durant. He represents Texas via UT and he's probably the best shooter from any point on the court.

Delo: Kevin Durant. He's just a cool, calm shooter. I don't want a nervous shooter with my life in their hands.

Mac: Kobe Bryant. Even though I'm not particularly fond of him, he is the best player in the league.

D-Risha: I'm gonna go with Kobe even though I hate his guts. He is a great player who any franchise would want on his squad.
