Santana, 3 Doors Down, Carlos Mencia Postponed or Cancelled

Most of the music venues in the Houston area seem to have weathered Ike without much damage - with the notable, terrible exception of Galveston's Balinese Room - but the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion wasn't so lucky. The outdoor amphitheater was hit hard enough to force the cancellation of Saturday's Santana show and postponement of Sunday's 3 Doors Down - above, whose new hit "Not My Time" is one of the only Buzz-type songs in recent memory I actually like - Hinder, Finger Eleven, American Bang show (no reschedule date yet).

Refunds are available at point of purchase for those who bought tickets through livenation.com or ticketmaster.com; the Pavilion advises those who bought theirs at the box office or other Ticketmaster outlets to check with the individual location.

Comedian Carlos Mencia's show tomorrow night at Toyota Center has likewise been postponed. All tickets will be honored at the reschedule date, whenever that is, and refunds are only available at the TC box office. Now, let's hope that's the last of the schedule interruptions Ike has visited on us. Really, I think he's done enough. - Chris Gray
