Along with Kenny Vaughan, Will Kimbrough has long been one of Nashville's go-to guitar-plunker sidemen for years. A key part of Todd Snider's original rock band the Nervous Wrecks, Kimbrough parlayed that job into a regular touring gig with alt-country god Rodney Crowell. He's also there when Music City underground heavyweights like Mark Germino go into the studio. Obviously, this means Kimbrough has rubbed up against some of the premier songwriters of the day, and his four solo albums attest he's learned his lessons well. He's also involved in Daddy, a five-piece rocking Americana band, with another left-side-of-Nashville icon, Tommy Womack. Look for Kimbrough to sample work from across his 20-plus-year career on this solo listening-room foray.
