Billy Walker Barrett: Cops Say He Drugged 14-Year-Old, Who Woke Up to Find Him Raping Her
A 14-year-old girl was given a soda by family "friend" Billy Walker Barrett and immediately began to feel sleepy, prosecutors say. When she woke up, Barrett was on top of her, naked and in the act of raping her.
Court documents say the Jersey Village man was watching the girl and brought her to his home so he could pick up some clothes. He gave her a soda and, she said, she felt sleepy and had trouble walking.
She then woke up to the horror. A few days later -- after the drug had worn off, court documents say -- she reported the incident to her mother, who immediately called police.
Barrett, 43, is on the run, charged with sexual assault of a child under 17 years of age.
Court records show that last year he faced charges of pushing his common-law wife to the floor. She got a restraining order against him, but later requested that the charges be dropped.
