Comment of the Day: Buy American, Buy Toyota
We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
We showed a note put on a moviegoer's car criticizing them for driving an un-American Toyota.
The sophisticated understanding of current affairs displayed in the note was rebutted by one reader
Not only does Toyota make cars in America, but the huge Tundra plant is in San Antonio. It's the "domestic" brands making cars in Mexico and Canada, while the "imports" are using more plants in the States. I've had this argument more than a few times.
