Comment of the Day: How to Get Rid of the Grass Carp
We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
We noted how the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, which had introduced grass carp into Lake Conroe to fight hydrilla, was now holding a fishing contest to kill most of them because they'd done their job and now threatened other species.
It seemed a vicious circle, and one reader was all for it.
They need to dump a shitload of poisonous carp-eating snakes into the lake. That'd show 'em what for!
