Comment of the Day: Someone Liked Our Dead Fish Photos
We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
We posted some pictures from a drought-stricken Sugar Land swamp that looked like something out of The Road. Most commenters seemed to take it more seriously than it deserved and were highly offended by our rhetoric. One thought otherwise, and we'll give ourselves a break and bask in it a bit.
These are beautiful shots but in an eery sense. Once again, the Houston Press "gets it"; true depictions of real life in Houston. What a dessicated wasteland! I can feel the heat from these pics emanating out of my LCD screen---oh wait---no. It's just the fan from the hard drive.
I always enjoy your top notch photos and captions.
