Comment of the Day: Too Many Hispanics In The Lege? How About Too Many Men?
We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
We noted the remarks of a leader of the Tea Party movement in Texas, who bemoaned the high number of Hispanics in the legislature and said it was why "good" illegal-immigrant laws couldn't get passed.

One reader noted the argument could be taken to other aspects of the lege.
Wow. I am the last one to support illegal immigration, but I fully support all legally elected American citizens in our legislature's right to be there. You could use this 'too many' argument in so many cases though so I am going to start with.... the recent anti-abortion legislation only passed as there are too many men in the legislature. We have to do something about that.
