Corie Doyle Shot Dead in Driveway Attack: Bayou Body Count No. 112
A 29-year-old man was shot to death about 6 p.m. Wednesday while he stood in a driveway at 5542 Shamrock, Houston police say.
Corie Doyle was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead on Thursday, July 26.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer S. Straughter reported:
Mr. Doyle was standing in his driveway at the above address when a white SUV with two suspects, described only as black males, drove up. One of the suspects got out of the vehicle and shot Doyle several times. Doyle was then transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The suspects fled in the SUV in an unknown direction.
