Get Your Vote On: Where to Vote in Today's Primary
That's right, kids, don't check your calendars, it's time to vote. Normally, this type of thing in Texas happens a bit sooner, but thanks to a crazy redistricting battle, it got pushed back to today. As per usual, nice weather will contribute to a healthy turnout, even if the GOP nominee for president is all but decided.
Still, there are numerous other key races including senator, railroad commissioner, Texas Supreme Court and the Texas Board of Education. That's right, you can help decide whether intelligent design or creationism is the primary scientific theory taught in the Lone Star State.
We kid, we kid. But, there's no kidding about voting. Primaries are a great way to help make sure your candidate gets onto the ballot in November, so get out there and vote.
Visit the Harris County election Web site to find your polling location. Who will we be casting our vote for? Well, that's why they call it a secret ballot, sonny boy.
