Gilbert Kibble, 38, Curtis Steward, 22, and Felipe Castillo, 26, Victims of Nightclub Shootout, Bayou Body Count Nos. 143-145
A wild end to the night at a northeast-side club Sunday morning left three dead and three others injured, police say.
A fight between two groups at Club ICU near Meas & Rinn led to gunfire, with reports of at least one shooter firing wildly into the air and into the crowd.
Gilbert Kibble, 38, Curtis Steward, 22, and Felipe Castillo, 26, died as a result of the 2 a.m. incident, police say. Kibble and Steward were pronounced dead at the scene; Castillo was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he died.
The injured victims -- all women -- were reported to be in stable condition.
