Two men broke into an apartment on the southest side of town Sunday morning and shot a man to death, Houston police say.
Jameel Hassan Galloway, 29, was in his apartment in the 12200 block of Fondren about 6:30 a.m. Sunday when two men knocked on the door and then forced their way inside, HPD says.
Several shots were fired, but only Galloway was hit, police say.
"The suspects are described only as two black males," HPD says. "Both are about 19 to 25 years of age, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weigh about 160 pounds. One suspect was wearing white shorts and a black t-shirt. The other had black shorts, a black t-shirt and a black hat."
