Keisy Marquez, Bayou Body Count No. 207
A man leaving a gas station on Friday night made it less than a mile down the road when he was shot to death by a motorist.
Keisy Marquez, 28, was driving eastbound near the 10700 block of Bissonnet when someone in another car pulled up to Marquez and shot him, police said.
"This caused Marquez to lose control of his vehicle," police said, "which struck a tree and flipped over in the middle of the roadway."
Marquez was dead by the time medical help arrived.

Witnesses told police that the shooting may have had something to do with an argument earlier that night at a Chevron station less than a mile away on Bissonnet. Police are looking for an African-American man driving a small, four-door sedan with chrome rims.
Anyone with information about this case can call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
