Martin Franklin, 52, Shot in Home Invasion, Bayou Body Count No. 134
A man was shot to death in a home invasion on the southwest side of town about dawn Saturday, Houston police say.
Martin Franklin, 52, was home in the 15800 block of Ironside Hill Drive about 5:30 a.m. Saturday when two armed suspects entered the house and demanded money. They shot Franklin multiple times, police say, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The suspects fled the scene in an unknown type vehicle," HPD says.
