Mercury Pictures: Doesn't Look All That Hot (Must Be the Humidity)

NASA has released the first images from the Messenger, which is orbiting Mercury.
They hardly make the planet seem like the burning cauldron we've always expected it to be. Looks kinda cold, actually.
Scientists are expressing surprise at the number of smaller craters the pictures show.
