Michael Jordan's Son Smiles Pretty For His Mugshot
Michael Jordan's son Marcus smiling for the camera.
Michael Jordan was having a pretty good week. The owner of the Charlotte Bobcats stayed out of the way of his team's draft just long enough for them to actually make the correct pick with the number two overall selection (Michael Kidd-Gilchrist), the first step on the long road to mediocrity (a HUGE step up at this point) for the Bobcats.
But as any parent knows, when you have kids, you can never become complacent. Any feeling that all is right in the world can be snatched away with one poor juvenile decision.
And so here comes Marcus Jordan.
Marcus is the younger of Michael Jordan's two sons. He is a guard at the University of Central Florida, having averaged 13.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while playing in 31 games last season as a junior. He ranked second in Conference USA in minutes per game at 35.9 and was 11th in scoring.

That's the basketball stuff. More importantly, off the court, Marcus likes to party!
We found this out a few weeks back when he was jacking around on Twitter with something called a @xxxrachelroxxx. He accidentally publicly tweeted the porn star with what was obviously a DM gone awry:
"too bad u wasnt in the chi this weekend was ready for round 2, 1st black one huh? DM me back boo got lot more for u $$"
So we've established that he likes whores, enough to go back for seconds like Golden Corral. But this weekend, we also found out that he likes arguing with them, too. (To be fair, the women involved in this incident might not be whores, but, well, they also might be.):
Marcus J. Jordan, 21, of Chicago was booked into the Douglas County Correctional Center for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing, said Officer Jacob Bettin, a police spokesman. A staff member at the jail said Sunday afternoon that Jordan was no longer in custody.
Bettin said a uniformed off-duty police officer approached Jordan outside the hotel at 555 S. 10th St. about 2:10 a.m. The officer, who was working as security for the hotel, reported that Jordan was arguing with two females in the hotel driveway and appeared to be very intoxicated.
Apparently, Jordan was in Omaha this past weekend to support a couple buddies swimming in the Olympic trials, which means that you can say what you want about the way he treats women, but dude is a loyal friend. Flying to Omaha to watch swimming? It doesn't get more loyal than that.
We don't have all of the details about what went down that night, so it's hard to say who was right and who was wrong. I just know that I LOVE Marcus Jordan's mugshot (above).
That's a "my father is a billionaire, so come on over, officers!" smile if I've ever seen one. Awesome.
