Nathaniel Deron Kelley, 19, Bayou Body Count No. 122
A drive-by killing on the Sam Houston Parkway was fatal to a 19-year-old male early Saturday morning, Houston police say.
Nathaniel Deron Kelley, 19, had attended a party with a friend at the Milan Pavilion at 6303 Harwin, HPD says. As they were leaving they apparently got in three separate arguments with three different people in the parking lot.
The two men drove away, with Kelley in the passenger seat. "As the friend exited at the West Airport/South Gessner exit, the rear driver's side door window shattered and Kelley was shot one time in the head," HPD says.
The friend told police the people involved in the arguments were driving "a blue or black Buick, a red Chevrolet Impala or Monte Carlo and a red SUV, possibly a Jeep."
Anyone with information on this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
