Nathaniel Jackson, 44, Allegedly Shot By Wife in Argument Over 22-Year-Old Daughter, Bayou Body Count No. 133
A northwest-side woman has been charged with murder in the killing of her husband Saturday night, police say.
Dedra Jackson, 46, got into an argument with her 22-year-old daughter about 7:40 p.m. Saturday in an apartment in the 1500 block of Big Bend, HPD says.
The argument "then escalated into a physical confrontation," HPD says. "Mr. Jackson then intervened and was shot by the suspect."
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and his wife "was taken into custody a short time later and charged in the case," police say.
