Norma Jean Scott, 48, Grandmother of 18, Bayou Body Count No. 148
Houston homicide detectives are looking for clues in connection with the discovery of the dead body of a woman who had gotten into a domestic dispute in the Fifth Ward.
The body of Norma Jean Scott, 48, was discovered Monday evening in an undeveloped area near 59 and the North Loop. She had been missing for days, and EquuSearch and other volunteers from Zion Baptist Church had been combing the area.
Reports indicate Scott had been arguing with a boyfriend, and although the body was found not far from that boyfriend's house, no charges have been filed.
KPRC reports that the victim "has six children and 18 grandchildren."
