Pamela C. Dixon Charged W/ Intoxication Manslaughter in Death of Alan Jeffrey Mininni: Bayou Body Count No. 194
A 26-year-old man standing by his apparently stalled-out truck and trailer was hit and killed by a car driven by Pamela C. Dixon, who police say was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
Houston police say the 44-year-old Dixon was driving a Honda Accord about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, when the accident occurred in the center lane of the 4600 block of South Sam Houston Parkway
Alan Jeffrey Mininni, 26, of Sugar Land, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead, Houston police said.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Usher and Senior Police Officer J. Mushinski reported:
Mr. Mininni was driving a white Ford F-250 westbound, towing a trailer and stopped in the center lane of the South Sam Houston Parkway service road, possibly stalled. As Mininni was standing outside his vehicle, the trailer was struck by a silver Honda Accord, driven by Dixon. Mininni was critically injured and transported to the hospital where he died. Dixon was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where she was treated.
Further investigation determined Dixon was intoxicated and she was taken into custody.
