Phillip Little, 40, Pizza Driver Shot During Robbery, Bayou Body Count No. 170
A Domino's deliveryman was shot and killed during an apparent robbery on the south side of town last night.
Phillip Little, 40, was found slumped over his steering wheel after an accident at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Canterway, police say.
Witnesses reported hearing shots shortly before the accident, at a home in the 5400 block of Madden, at about 11:15 p.m.
"Further investigation determined Little was a Domino's Pizza delivery driver who was sent for a delivery to the above location," HPD says. "Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots in the 5900 block of Madden and then a car squealing out of the area. At this time, the motive in the shooting appears to be robbery."
Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
