Police Trying to Identify Shooting Victim Found in Ditch
Houston police are seeking information about the identity of a man, apparently shot to death, found Sunday morning in a ditch.
The Chronicle reports that "a person driving past the 6400 block of Gold saw a body in the ditch near the railroad tracks and called police upon returning home nearby."
The man appears to be in his late 20s, according to HPD Spokesman John Cannon. Investigators did not find any identification on the body.
"Cannon said investigators are waiting on the autopsy to confirm cause and time of death," the Chron reported.
If you have any information, please contact HPD at 713-208-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
