Rick Perry, Master Debater: The Movie!
The critics have been pretty much in agreement on Rick Perry's performances in GOP presidential debates, and they have not been kind.
Texans, on the one hand, aren't surprised; on the other, they could be, since they so rarely got a chance to see Perry perform in a debate.
The governor, you might remember, came up with an utterly bogus excuse for not debating Bill White last time around, something about not agreeing to meet him until White released every piece of financial information ever generated about him going back to the age of eight or so.
In an earlier gubernatorial campaign, Perry agreed to exactly one debate -- and insisted that it be held on a Friday night during high school football season.
Still, there apparently is a movie to be made about Perry and his debating skills, because we have the poster:
