Steve Francis: Drunk And Causing A Scene At LA's Airport
Stevie Franchise!! How could you?
Wire reports indicate former Houston Rocket Steve Francis was arrested last night for being drunk and resisting arrest at an LA International ticket counter last night.
"Airport spokesman Albert Rodriguez says Francis was arrested at 11:30 p.m. [PDT] Thursday because he was intoxicated, unable to care for himself and combative toward staff," AP reported.
He was arrested and then released earlier this morning on bail.
Francis played for thee Rockets for five years ending in 2004 and, while popular, never quite lived up to the "Stevie Franchise" tag. He returned to the team in an abortive comeback for the 2007-08 season.
