Check out our slideshow of the Texans vs. the Ravens at Reliant Stadium.
They weren't the boldfaced, awe-inspiring ever-dreaded Baltimore Ravens of old -- too many injuries, and old age, have ravaged that lineup -- but they are still wearing the purple and black that has intimidated NFL offenses for years.
Not today in Reliant Stadium, though.
The Houston Texans didn't play all that well, but they racked up a franchise-record 43 points and beat Baltimore for the first time in franchise history, beating the Ravens 43-13.

The Texans eased the fears of fans who had been driven slightly batty by the Monday Night Football bashing last week, and the team seems set again on its Super Bowl track.
They took their time -- as usual -- getting off to a somewhat slow start that had fans grumbling. But even as they made some dumb mistakes and penalties, the team held on and poured on the points when needed.
And yes, J.J. Watt batted down passes.
QB Matt Schaub was 23 for 37 for 256 yards and two touchdowns; Arian Foster had 98 yards of 19 carries and two TDs.
The team now goes into a bye week in about as good a shape as could have been hoped, and the Super Bowl in New Orleans seems as close as ever.
