Texas A&M Has a Bomb Alert (UPDATED, Classes Canceled)
These are becoming common enough to invite a blasé feeling, but like hurricanes, it only takes one.
Texas A&M officials have issued a Code Maroon alert after receiving "a campus-wide" bomb threat.
Aggie officials are "asking all students, faculty, and staff to evacuate campus as quickly and as safely as possible by foot. Do not use a vehicle at this time. This evacuation is effective immediately until further notice."
Check back with the linked Ag page for further updates. Classes have been canceled for the day, though.
