These Two Men Are Wanted for Murdering Alexander Segura
The Harris County Sheriff's Office has released composite sketches of two men wanted for capital murder in connection with the robbing and killing of a man on the far west side early Monday.
Alexander Segura, 28, was sitting in a vehicle in an apartment parking lot in the 9000 block of Jones Road about 3 a.m. Monday when he was approached by two men wearing hoodies who attempted to rob him at gunpoint, the HCSO says.
The suspects took off, Segura took chase and shots were fired. Segura was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, where he died.
One suspect is described as black, in his 20s with a slight build, from 5-7 to 5-11. The second is described as "a light to medium-skinned black male, average build, approximately 5'11" in height, and in his late teens to early twenties."
" Anyone with information about their identities and/or location is asked to call the Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit at 713-967-5810 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477)," the HCSO says.
"Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-TIPS (8477) or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the filing of felony charges or arrest of the suspects in this case," cops added. "Tips can also be sent by text message. Text TIP610 plus your tip to CRIMES (274637). All tipsters remain anonymous."
