Unidentified Male Shot & Tossed from Car, Bayou Body Count No. 153
Here's something you generally don't see at 6 a.m. of a typical weekday: A Chrysler slowing down on a highway so people inside can throw out the bullet-ridden body of a passenger, a victim who then walks to a gas station as he's slowly dying.
That's what happened this morning on the far west side, Houston police say.
Witnesses described the incident in the 1500 block of State Highway 6; they say the victim, whose identity has not been released pending verification, "was seen being thrown out of a gray Chrysler Pacifica at the above address. The vctim then walked to a gas station. HFD paramedics were called and transported the victim to the hospital where he died from multiple gunshot wounds."
The victim was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital. Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
