Unidentified Woman Found Dead at Home During Welfare Check: Bayou Body Count No. 115
An autopsy is being performed on a woman found dead at 237 West 18th St. No. 4 at 11:05 p.m. Sunday, Houston Police report.
The woman's identity is being withheld pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer J. Villarreal and Officer J. Horn reported:
HPD patrol officers and HFD paramedics responded to a welfare-check call at the above location and found the victim deceased on the kitchen floor inside the apartment. HPD Homicide investigators then initiated an investigation into the victim's death.
