We Heart CFS
Chicken fried steak lovers, this must be your week. And it isn’t just because the current Press features 25 choice locations for CFS.
Nope, as an added bonus, we learn from theNew York Timestoday
that Houston’s own Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital boasts one of the nation’s lowest mortality rates for patients treated for heart attacks or heart failure.
The federal government analyzed some 5,000 hospitals. Four Texas hospitals – two in Fort Worth, one in Abilene and another in Texarkana – are listed among the hospitals where heart patients are most likely to die.
Folks in those cities might consider steering clear of our list. But Houstonians can dig in without remorse. So go on and get your CFS fix. And live! – Todd Spivak
