...before he was hit by shrapnel and lost his right eye in the 2002 firefight with Omar Khadr.

Omar Khadr was a skinny 15-year-old when he was shot by Special Forces and accused of throwing the grenades that wounded Morris and killed an army medic.

Weeds have overgrown Camp X-Ray, which hasn't been used since 2002.
