Let's hope Saturday is a marvelous night for a moondance, because it's Van Morrison's first Houston-area performance since 1978. No doubt the only musician described as a "poet-sorcerer" by the All Music Guide, the Belfast-born Morrison has been a towering figure in Western pop since his band Them came around at just about midnight with 1964's "Gloria."
