With another Houston summer approaching, the most desperate are once again moving those flesh-exposing, net-mesh tank tops to the front of the closet. But maybe you're over that belly-showin', tanline-revealing tank. You could go with the tried-and-true mesh football jersey look. From the beaches to the malls, folks are rockin' their Texans, Eagles and Patriots jerseys (and matching hats, natch). And good news for fans of the see-through: You can even score a David Carr jersey in mesh. Your new look will fit right in at "Football, the Exhibit" at the Museum of Health & Medical Science. It's an interactive exhibit that explores the science behind the game. (Imagine: Next time you're sitting on the couch with a buddy and a Bud arguing the collision dynamics of a knockout hit, you could actually support yourself with real facts!) Sure, there'll be plenty of kiddies running around the museum at top speed, but grown-ass football fans shouldn't stay home. "We have an exhibit that shows how throwing a football is like a gyroscope," says the museum's Gayle Barnett. "The adults will like that." If that doesn't raise your back fur (and it should), then watch the videos of our beloved Houston Texans cheerleaders. Mmmm, cheerleaders. Exhibit runs through September 11. 1515 Hermann Drive.
