Here on Eating Our Words, the commenters absolutely make the blog, and our Comment of the Day honors the best of the bunch.
Every day, we read you guys and pick the commenter, or commenters, who made us laugh, cry, salivate over something delicious, or think about things in a new way.
In return, we offer them a virtual White Russian.
Today, Katharine Shilcutt wrote about the dudebro. Over at Urban Dictionary, they refer to it thusly, "Characterized by an eagerness to consume alcohol, celebrate friendship and empathy towards the concept of doing something potentially horrific and/or humiliating in order to concievably gain heightened repute and accelerated social status."
In this case, it was a dudebro chugging a bottle of Cristal and downing an unholy Ghost Pepper. As per usual, commenters had plenty to say on the issue including Chris Watkins:
This is inspirational. Do I have to wait for a dudebro to eat a Ghost Chili pepper in order to kick him in the nuts, or is it pretty much a given that I can do that any time? And I'm okay with wearing an Eeyore outfit if that's protocol. I just want some dudebro nut kicking action.
Go ahead, Chris, kick away at the nuts of the dudebro. Cheers!
