If you're like me, you desperately want to attend the Night After Monsters beer event at Whole Foods Market on Waugh on November 13, but you don't have the spare $100 to pony up for a ticket. That's where we come in.
In association with Houston Beer Week, the Night After Monsters will be featuring a roster of exclusive, rare and one-off beers that you'll never find again in Houston. The list of beers that will be on hand is far too long to list here, but Do713 has been compiling the line-up as the beers come on board.
In addition to this grand tasting of special-edition beers, world-famous Danish brewmaster Mikkel Borg Bjergso of Mikkeller beer fame will make his first appearance in Houston at this event to discuss his beers and sign bottles. Only 300 tickets are available to this big beer bash, but we have one to give away to a lucky reader.
On the following pages are 15 of the most visually striking craft beer labels from around the country -- with all identifying text removed. Some will be easy to identify just on their color scheme or art, while some might prove far more difficult. Guess all 15 and email your answers to yours truly by this Friday at 5 p.m. Make sure to include the name of the beer along with the name of the brewery; only including the brewery's name is not enough. A winner for our Night After Monsters $100 ticket will be chosen at random from the emails with all 15 correct answers.
