BCO’s Farmer’s Market Bike Ride takes off from Onion Creek bright and early. Meet up for coffees before you embark on an 8-12 mile trip to shop for fruits, veggies, jams, local goods and more (the tour usually hits 3 to 5 different markets).
Weekend Brunch Launch @ Helen Greek Food and Wine

Houston’s newest Greek food & wine stop is launching brunch service this Sunday. Join them to feast on a plethora of Greek-inspired brunchstuffs, including eggs benny with feta corn bread, cypriot sausage, and avgolemono hollandaise; hand packed gyro with tender black hills pork; and semolina pancakes with grape molasses & concord bay leaf grape syrup, almonds, and whipped Greek yogurt.

Untapped Festival @ Discovery Green
Saturday, 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
In addition to an exciting music lineup, you’ll find 70+ breweries and 275 unique beers at this all-day music and craft beer festival. The phenomenal collection of hard to find suds includes Saint Arnold Bishop’s Barrel 4, 9, & 10, Karbach Bourbon Barrel Hellfighter with Vanilla, Goose Island Bourbon County Coffee Stout, and Firestone Walker Helldorado. The entire list can be found on the Untapped Festival Houston website. And to complete the experience, the event will feature a great selection of food from local restaurants like Underbelly, Hay Merchant, Phoencia Specialty Foods, and The Flying Saucer. Tickets start at $32. Come hungry, thirsty, and ready to party.
Taste of Town Square @ Sugar Land Town Square Plaza
Saturday, 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m
Hit Taste of Town Square to enjoy samplings of delicious foods from area restaurants alongside smooth jazz, R&B and Motown tunes. Tastings will be available from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Afterward, hang around for spirits and lyrics with world rhythms live music from Moodafaruka. Tickets are available for purchase online or at the door based upon availability. The cost ($10 for general admission and $25 for VIP) includes 8 food sampling ticket (unlimited for VIP). Additional wine and beer tickets may be purchased for $5 each and are redeemable for one standard-sized drink. Proceeds will benefit the Fort Bend Jr Service League.
First Birthday Party @ Public Services Wine & Whisky
Sunday, 4 p.m.
This stellar wine and whisky haven is turning one whole year old. To celebrate, they’ll have special pricing on all drinks, snacks from Oxheart Restaurant, louder music than usual, and cheap party favors. Sabering will probably be going on all day too. Check Facebook for more information.
