The chocolate green tea cheesecake ($4) at Mak Chin (1511 Shepherd, 713-861-9888) has a decadent, dark, Oreo cookie base. The dense, pastel-green filling, a cross between the color of pistachio and, well, green tea, is interspersed with chocolate chips, which add additional flavor and texture. The whole slice is covered in a hard, smooth milk-chocolate topping. The combination is stimulating and relaxing at the same time. Paul Galvani
