SHOW ME HOW
Now there are a lot of really stupid food holidays, but this day is serious, y'all. It's National Bacon Day on Saturday, and Liberty Kitchen and BRC Gastropub are helping you celebrate. Head on over to one of these two restaurants (or both, no one is judging), and feast on the special bacon-centric dishes they will be serving all day long. Liberty Kitchen will have four menu items featuring the greasy cut of pork, including chicken fried chicken deviled eggs topped with bacon jam and bacon wrapped trout with a poblano mash. BRC will have a BLT dip made with chicken fried bacon, lettuce, tomato, fried egg and spicy mayo sandwiched between two slices of sourdough bread and a side of jalapeno cream gravy for dipping the sandwich and fries. If you want to order a pint of bacon jam, call at least 24 hours in advance, aka today, to reserve a pint at either restaurant for just $15.
