Grocery Guide

These Grocery Stores Are Open on Thanksgiving in the Houston Area for the Non-Perfect Planners Among Us

We know we'd all like to be super duper planners, but just in case you aren't perfect and you're cooking dinner at home on Thanksgiving and you forgot something like the butter or the Cool Whip or the stuffing, or maybe you're trying that once-in-a-lifetime recipe and who knew it needed crushed fresh pineapple, here's who can help.

All information is based on telephone checks with the stores or store greeting announcements or their Web sites, so please don't be mad at us if you show up somewhere and that individual store is not participating. Consider this a spirit guide to where you can start looking. CVS: All locations open normal hours

Fiesta Marts All stores open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Foodarama Open, but store hours vary so check with individual stores.

H-E-B: All locations open at regular hours and will close at 2 p.m.
