Where to Eat in Houston Easter 2015

From bunny breakfasts, egg hunts, and 3-course meals featuring roasted racks of lamb to Mexican-style brunch buffets with live music and cocktails, here's where to eat this Easter in Houston:

On Saturday, March 28, gather the whole family and hippity hop over to 024 Grille for a delicious breakfast buffet featuring an Easter egg hunt, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, kids coloring craft station, gift bags for kids, and complimentary self-parking in the Westin Garage. Cost is $24 per adult, $14 for children 4 - 14, and free for children 3 and under. Seatings are available at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

On Easter Sunday, enjoy a festive brunch featuring breakfast and lunch fare, holiday favorites, desserts, and more ($55 per adult, $25 for children 4 - 14, free for children 3 and under).

An Easter Sunday brunch buffet ($39 per adult, $29 for seniors, $15 for children 6- 12) will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., alongside the breakfast and regular menu from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feast on regional Mexican dishes, including moles, barbacoa, pozoles, paellas, ceviches and more. Save room for the delicious dessert bar, which features flan, churros, and tres leches, in addition to a plethora of other sweets. There will also be Mexican hot chocolate at every table.

Artisans Restaurant 3201 Louisiana St, 713-529-9111

Let the family dress up in their Easter best and enjoy a five course menu on Easter Sunday. This elegant restaurant will be serving Easter brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $95 per person.

Aura Brasserie 15977 City Walk, 281-403-2872

This Sugar Land Town Square restaurant is offering an elegant 3-course prix-fixe Easter brunch ($39 per person) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feast on crab beignets, braised lamb shanks, blackberry cobbler and more.

Backstreet Cafe 1103 S. Shepherd 713-521-2239

This Easter, chef Hugo Ortega will be offering a special 3-course menu -- featuring oyster chowder, slow-cooked leg of lamb, strawberry rhubarb dumplings, and more -- from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $48 per person ($15 per child age 10 and under) plus beverage, tax and gratuity. The day also features live jazz by Bob Chadwick and an Easter egg hunt for the children.

Bistro Provence 13616 Memorial, 713-827-8008

This Easter from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Bistro Provence, one of Houston's most authentic French restaurants, will be offering a three-course, multiple choice Easter lunch menu for $44 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Expect delicious treats like vichyssoise, smoked salmon eggs Benedict, petit filet mignon béarnaise, and more.

Brennan's of Houston 3300 Smith St, 713-522-9711

On Friday, April 3, bring the kiddies to Brennan's for brunch with the Easter Bunny, offered from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The meal includes a biscuit, muffin, choice of starter, entree and dessert ($30 for children, $45 for adults).

Then, on Easter Sunday, enjoy an elegant 3-course brunch ($56 per person) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feast on creole smoked salmon, shrimp and grits, filet mignon, pecan pie, bananas foster, and more.

Cadillac Bar 1802 Shepherd, 713-862-2020

Hop on over to the Cadillac Bar for an Easter brunch buffet from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to choose from a delicious array of eats, including eggs benny, beef empanadas, omlet, taco and pasta stations, a dessert bar, and more. The cost is 26.99 for adults, $16.99 for seniors, and $8.99 for children.

Join Caracol in celebrating the holiday with their Easter Sunday brunch buffet, featuring live music alongside chicharrones stew, enchiladas, chilaquiles, migas, ceviches, salads, plenty of seafood offerings, freshly baked desserts, and more. And to complement the food, there is an extensive menu of eye-opening cocktails for guests to choose from, as well as fresh-squeezed juices, flavorful Mexican coffee and hot chocolate.
