Mayor Annise Parker joined NASA and space buffs at Johnson Space Center's Ellington Field to welcome home the crew of Atlantis's final flight, STS-135. Shuttle Commander Chris Ferguson, Pilot Doug Hurley and Mission Specialists Sandra Magnus and Rex Walheim wrapped up a 13-day mission to deliver supplies to the International Space Station, the final flight in the Unites States space shuttle program. At the homecoming ceremony the astronauts were practically treated like rock stars, posing for photos with fans and signing autographs near the backdrop of a giant American flag.
