Friday kicked off the start of Celtic Christmas Closing Weekend at the Texas Renaissance Festival and the crowd was making the most of it. Pleasant temperatures with only a hint of rain had everyone in a good mood. Chain mail, leather and tightly strung bodices abounded, with the 21st century a distant memory, well except for the ATM machines well distributed across the site.
