Under a cloudy and dramatic sky, The Houston Dynamo hosted the first leg of the MLS Eastern Conference Championship at BBVA Compass Stadium against the DC United on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012. The visitors took an early lead as United rookie Nick DeLeon scored by kicking in a rebound after a teammate hit the post. The Dynamo responded in the second half with goals by Andre Hainault, Will Bruin and Kofi Sarkodie, resulting in a commanding 3-1 win and aggregate lead in the series. The Dynamo remain undefeated at home this season, the first in their new stadium. The next game will be held at RFK Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012.
