Faces in the Crowd at Chris Gray Day

Houston's music scene rallied Saturday around Houston Press music editor Chris Gray, who suffered a heart attack at a Metro light rail station in October. Musical performances, an auction and a raffle all took place to help raise money for Gray's medical bills. The event also honored the two Metro officers who helped save Gray's life, and included a Proclamation from the city naming Saturday, January 14, 2012, "Chris Gray Day." Also check out our slideshow of the bands who performed at Chris Gray Day. PHOTOS BY BARRY SIGMAN (2-10), JIM BRICKER (1, 11-23), JASON WOLTER (24-26), JAY LEE (27-40) AND MARCO TORRES (41-59)
