It may have been hotter than hell this weekend, but that didn't stop Houston from enjoying the first SummerFest, put on by Free Press Houston. The two-day festival featured two stages in Eleanor Tinsley Park, water balloons, beer and locally and nationally popular acts. Day one saw groups like The Tontons, Fat Tony, Broken Social Scene and Explosions in the Sky wow the crowds. PHOTOS BY AMBER ROUSSEL
